Peter has spent four decades in enterprise IT leadership — from systems analysis at Philips early in his career, through to senior leadership roles at some of the world's largest international NGOs.
As Head of IT & Systems at WaterAid, Peter led technology strategy across a global organisation operating in 26 countries. He held the equivalent role at ActionAid, and served as a Board Member of NetHope — the technology consortium supporting major international NGOs including the Red Cross, Save the Children and Oxfam.
Earlier in his career Peter led project and programme management teams at AOL International and Teletext, delivering some of the UK's earliest digital and broadband products. He chaired CCitDG — the charity CIO community — from 2011 to 2012.
Today Peter leads ARETEN, helping SMEs, charities, trade unions and financial services firms get real value and real protection from their cyber security investment.
